As long as women at homes do not correct their way of thinking and act in a normal way with daughter/s, patriarchy remains strong.
Apart from the aforementioned waiting, the atomic patriarchal habits/errors that women do at home are:
1) Giving the chicken leg pieces 😁 to sons each time মুরগি is made halal. I mean, discrimination of gender in food distribution is the First habit practiced by women at home. Then in clothes. During festivals, son receives more clothes. It deeply scars the daughter's psychology forever. She may either become a secretive or open rebel or inbuilt the same genres to her family. Bringing equality in food and clothing automatically weakens patriarchy....
The mother-in-law is the biggest dreamer of dowry.Another "Agent of patriarchy". After harassing out more and more dowry, she will expect maid-like work, love, allegiance and respect. Well, how can all be achieved in one short life from one woman. How to break this cycle then? Refuse giving dowry. Refuse taking either. Even after showering dowry, how many woman's life remain normal, free from the perennial insults, exclusion, psychological congestion!
2) Cooking: It plays a massive role in maintaining equality. Since daughters are now being equally schooled, sent to higher studies and welcomed for jobs, then cooking by sons can be employed as a normal task as doing a job by daughters.
